Russia’s Mechel IFRS 2015 net loss narrows 13% to 115 bln rbl
MOSCOW, May 13 (PRIME) -- The net loss of Russian metals and mining company Mechel narrowed by 13% to 115.163 billion rubles in 2015, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Friday.
The company’s adjusted net loss widened to 40.165 billion rubles from 7.609 billion rubles.
Revenue increased 4% to 253.141 billion rubles. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 54% to 45.73 billion rubles.
Mechel’s net debt grew by 25% to 506.891 billion rubles as of December 31, 2015.
